OPI and China glaze nail polish dupes

Hey guys!!! So I am SUPER excited for this blog :)
I'm going to be sharing with you all some nail polishes I have found lately that resemble OPI and Essie polishes quite alot :)
I love knowing about dupes because then I am paying half the price for the same color :)
So here we goo!!!!

Alright so first off , the one I was most excited to find.. A dupe for Opi's "Do You Lilac It?"

This is a really pretty pastel purple color.. and I honestly only wanted a color like it because juicystar07 on youtube alwaysss raved about it.. So when I found a dupe I was so excited!!! The dupe for this is Revlon's " Gum Drop".. A 4 dollar polish from walmart!!! :)

as you can see , " Do You Lilac It" is a little bit of a deeper purple.. But honestly... in person when you have the Revlon one on your nails , they hardly look any different...This same polish also doubles as a dupe for Essie's " Lilacism". :) There is for real absolutely no difference between the Essie and Revlon one!! They're identical!

Alright , and next.. I have found a dupe for China Glaze's " Re-fresh-mint." :D I also knew about this polish from youtube.. Strawberryelectric48 raved about this ALL THE TIME. So when I walked into walmart and saw yet another Revlon color that look exactly like it I HAD to purchase it. The color is "Minted" , and no lie. It is an exact dupe.. it' such a pretty minty green color.. PERFECT for summer:)

And again , this revlon nail polish doubles as an Essie dupe for " Mint Candy Apple"

I think it's safe to say that all mint nail polishes pretty much look Exactly alike.. Definitely these 3 :)

AND Last but not least a dupe for OPI's " Yes I Can-Can".. I recieved this polish for Christimas this year and I LOVE it for fall.. When I was going thru my nail polishes the other day searching for dupes , I noticed that "Cabernet" By Petites is almost exactly the same.. Both are a very deep , warm red and in the bottle they look practically the same.. Once on the nail , OPI's has a little more of a shimerry purpleish look. But it's safe to say , you could just go with the petites one and be fine :)

I couldnt find a very good pic of the OPI polish. But if you just google them and compare.. they are practically the same. :)

My everyday summer makeup :)

Hey Guys so today I wanted to share with you what is going to be my everyday summer makeup look.
So it's summer , you're all tan and you dont have to wear that much makeup anymore.. But you still want makeup that will give your face a glow and show off your tan.. And I think this is the perfect look for that.. All the products are drugstore so it's not going to cost you alot and it's really going to let your natural beauty shine thru...

OK so first off for you face :
     -Start off with your favorite concealer and just cover any blemishes that bother you.... I have a    birthmark right in between my eyebrows so I like to use concealer there... I dont use it under my eyes causse I feel like in the summer your tan kind of hides the dark circles!!

    -Next as a highlight on the top of my cheek bones I use the light orangish color(#2) in the Loreal Summer Dusk Eyeshadow Quad.. I know , i know , An eyeshadow as a highlight??? Yes , this is the perfect color for your cheekbones that has a little bit of shimmer , but is still very natural

So thats all youre going to do on your face.. If you don't think you have enough color on your cheeks , you can always add your favorite cream blush :)


Ok , now for eyes :

    -So first use the white color out of the Revlon Illuminance Creme Eyeshadows in "Seashells" And use that as a highlight on your brow bone and in the inner corner of your eye..

     - Next , from the same eyeshadow quad , take the color on the very left ( In the picture its on the bottom) And lightly pat in all over your eyelids and blend it out so you have a very natural color to your eyelids , with a little bit of a glow.

    - Now , take the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in "clear" and use it as a brow gel to put any crazy brow hairs in place.. ( you can also use any alternative brow gel you like)

    - Grab your eyelash curlers and curl your lashes!!!! I dont apply mascara because i want it to look like I dont have on any makeup, but if you feel uncomfortable without mascara , go ahead and use it!!!


And , last but not least , Grab your EOS lip balm and roll it on your lips!!!

Honestly , I am still undecided on how I feel about the eos lip balms.. I bought them because they are super cute , But I dont think they are that moisturizing at all.. And mine always turn brown around the rim :( But they do have really nice summer , fruity smells.. So thats a plus :)

And now your done!!!!! I promise this look should take 7 minutes at the most. So I hope you guys enjoy this look and have an AMAZING summer !!

They are all sooo adorable and have amazing personalities:) It was also about how much I despise Haley Reinhart and how she stole James spot in the top 3 :) haha anyways. I'm obsessed with american idol and I rambled way too long about it. So I guess it's a good thing the video cut off :D

Lancome Paris CILS BOOSTER XL mascara base REVIEW

Hey Girls!
Today I am going to be doing a review on the Lancome Paris Super-Enhancing Mascara Base..

My granny gave this to me a while back , because she got it for free after perchasing a certain amount of makeup from lancome. I was soo excited when she gave it to me because I have always wanted a mascara base. So I curled my lashes and swiped it on.. When I first applied it I was really excited because it looked really nice until i tried to put a mascara over it.

When I applied my mascara it made my lashes look clumped together.. It looked like I only had about 5 eye lashes.. :/ I was super dissapointed because like I said I was super excited... I should've seen it coming because I have some lancome mascara that I really dont like either.. So maybe it's just their mascara thats not so good?? Cause I really love their eyeshadows.. Or maybe it's just me. I'm not sure. But I definitely would not suggest this base to anyone..
Have ya'll tried this or know of a different mascara base thats good ??? Let me know!

Bronzer Alternative

Hey Girls!
Today I'm going to tell you how to get the same bronzer/glowing look without having to buy a bronzer..  I know alot of girls who watch videos and read beauty blogs are younger or at least not old enough to have a job... Welll I have an alternative for bronzer that most of us probably have.. We all buy powder foundation thinking its the " perfect match" then we get it home.. And it's too dark... Well I have some powder foundation thats only about a shade darker than what I need.. So today I was just messing around and applied it like you would apply a bronzer. And I was surprised.. It actually looked really nice , My skin had a glow to it and I looked like I had just gotten back from the beach. :) So you dont have money for a bronzer??? Don't have time to go buy a bronzer before an event?? Just use a powder foundation thats about one or two shades darker than your normal color and you're good to go!!!

Small Haul :)

Hey Girls !!
So Yesterday me and my mom went and got our nails done. We normally don't do that kind of thing but she got a gift certificate for it for her birthday..  So we went and got manicures.. I got OPI's Strawberry Margarita on my nails.. It's a really really hot , neonish pink.. It's super pretty... But anyways , after we were done we still had 16 dollars on the gift card and my mom said I could get 2 nail polishes. woot.

The first polish I picked up was OPI's " Can You Dig It?"

It's a reallly pretty deep purple color.. I know it's dark , but I still think it's a really pretty color for spring and summer


And the other polish that I got was OPI's " Ski Teal We Drop"

Again it's a darker color but it's extremely pretty.. I'm gonna have this on my nails a whole lot this summer :)

So I know it was only 2 things but I LOVE OPI and I wanted to share my excitement with you all:)

Overnight Waves : RESULT

Hey Girls!!
I am SUPER sorry I never posted the result for the overnight waves video I did.... I tried to film the next morning but my camera refused to work :( I couldn't try to fix it cause I had to go to work. I'm SOOO sorry.. But the results were really nice. :) It was kind of a crimpy look.. I felt like I was ready to put on a bathing suit and hit the beach.  So definitely try out that method if you have hard to curl/scrunch hair like me.. Super sorry again about not putting this up sooner..

All Time Favorite Mascara

Hey Girls!!!
So today I'm going to be telling ya'll about my all-time favortie mascara... ever. haha :)
I've tried so many mascaras.. Covergirl , Lancome , Maybelline Falsies.. Which were all good.. But I still LOVE Great Lash by Maybeline... I know it's like ancient. But it is AMAZING... It gives me reallly long lashes but they don't look like they are painted on.. I hate when girls pile on mascara and it's all clumpy and gross...  I don't think , with this mascara , that your lashes could ever look clumpy or gross , even if you tried to make them look like that.. So this is definitely my staple mascara.. Everytime I go out of town or to a friends , this is the one mascara I will take... What are ya'lls favorite mascaras??? Comment them :) xoxo

Tresemme Freshstart Dry Shampoo review

Hey Everyone!! :)
I hope your day is going fantastic!! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Tresemme dry shampoo for oily/straight to normal hair..

Noww. I have kinda greasy hair.. I have to wash it every single day or it gets all gross.. And I knew that washing my hair everyday was bad so I looked up different solutions to get rid of greasy hair... Well just about everyone on youtube said baby powder but I didn't want to smell like a baby. haha So I finally found a video by one of my favorite gurus , Arose186 , and she recommended this dry shampoo.. So of course I went and bought it.

I was so excited to get it home and use it......... Well , I'm sad to say I came home dissapointed that I wasted my money.. It smells really weird and it leaves my hair feeling dirty... My hair definitely didn't look greasy anymore , which was good , But putting this on just made me want to take a shower even more.. It's not light at all.. It feels like you have a bunch of hair products packed on.. So I was definitely dissapointed. I will still use this if I have to go somewhere and don't have time for a shower.. But I really don't like it at all. I prefer baby powder!!!!!  I would not suggest this for anyone , but everyone has different opinions I guess...

Favorite spring nail polishes!!! :)

I know I said I was mostly going to be posting videos but I will be posting a view blog only things. Just because some stuff would be a really short and pointless video. haha :D Anyways , I'm just gonna talk about my favorite spring nail polishes and such :)

Alright , so first is this amazing one by Revlon. It's called "minted"

It's a really pretty springtime color.. It kind of reminds me of "Refresh-Mint" by Essie with EVERYONE on youtube always talked about.. So when I saw this in walmart for about 3 dollars I had to get it.. My friend told me it looks like toothpaste... Which is accurate. But its pretty toothpaste :D


And next is "Gum Drop" by Revlon

And this color really reminded me of " Do You Lilac It?" by OPI , which Juicystar07 on youtube always talks about.. So , again I bought it.. Youtube is my reasoning for wasting money. haha But I'm so glad i purchased it.. It is PERFECT for spring.. My friend said it was "Easter"... And it is.. My friends have the weirdest descriptions for nail polishes.. So if you want Easter in a bottle , Go get this.:)
And next is Sinful Colors "Hottie" :D

This is a really , really pretty , sparkly color. Perfect for spring... Its blue sparkles with some whitish accents.. I normally apply it really , really thickly so you cant see my nail like you can in the picture above, But either way it is a very pretty nail polish. And it was only 2 bucks at walgreens!!!! woot woot!!!

And last but definitely not least is " Frenzy" also by Sinful Colors

Ahhhh , I cant get enough of this color!!! Probably one of my all-time favorites!! The main color is purple but it has pink , and aqua-ish sparkles. It is soo adorable.. Again , I normally apply it thick so you cant see my nail... But either way it is still beautifull... Suprisingly , none of my friends had a description for this nail polish.. But I told my friend it was like a disco ball on my nails. haha XD But it is an amaazing color and again , only 2 bucks.. Who can beat that???
